Landing on a wild, undeveloped beach, this route follows trails through 3,000-year-old primary forest with real — if unpredictable — chances of spotting big wildlife, even a puma. Day one covers ~15 km before a night at a jungle shelter; day two visits Los Planes and a waterfall.
Note: Very good physical condition required. ~15 km of primary-forest trekking on day one.
