Walk the lava fields left by Arenal’s 1968 eruption with a licensed local guide. From the main sector we follow the old lava-flow trail (Las Coladas) and the El Ceibo loop past a giant ceiba tree, then drive to the La Península sector for the observation tower and the classic view over Lake Arenal and the volcano.

Good to know: the park is open daily 8:00–16:00 (last entry 14:00). Bring closed shoes, a rain layer and insect repellent.
