A canal-side eco-lodge between the main canal and the Caribbean Sea, with two pools, gardens and trails — the classic Tortuguero stay, with full board and the boat tour included.
Laguna Lodge is an eco-lodge in a privileged position between the main canal of Tortuguero and the Caribbean Sea. About 110 standard rooms are set among gardens full of tropical plants, with rocking chairs outside each room to sit and watch the garden. Two pools — one beside the canal and one on the beach side — trails and an open-air butterfly garden are inside the grounds.
The restaurant faces the main canal, so you can watch the wildlife while you eat. Meals are served as a buffet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and coffee, tea and cookies are available around the clock.
Tortuguero is one of the most important nesting sites of the green turtle in the northern Caribbean. The nesting season runs from July to October, followed by the hatching season, so you can take a night walk to look for turtles or watch hatchlings in the afternoon. We arrange the transfers, the boat and the tours.

Children 5–11 years pay 50 % sharing a room with adults; children 0–4 are free. Maximum three adults per room. The entrance to Tortuguero National Park ($16.95 per person for the canals sector, $2.26 for the Cerro sector) and optional tours are not included.
The package includes the road transfer from San José to the boat dock, with breakfast and lunch on the way, and the boat to the lodge and back. Luggage is limited to 23 kg (50 lb) per person.
