Piedras Blancas National Park

Rainforest on the shores of the Golfo Dulce, next to the Osa Peninsula.

About the park

Piedras Blancas National Park covers lowland rainforest on the north and east shores of the Golfo Dulce, one of the few tropical fjords in the world, next to the Osa Peninsula and not far from Corcovado. The forest is part of the Osa ecosystem, rich in plants, birds and mammals.

The park has few facilities, and visitors usually go with a local guide, or as part of a stay in one of the lodges on the Golfo Dulce. We arrange visits on request, together with the rest of your stay in the south.
