Colores del Caribe is a group of four casitas set in a tropical garden near Playa Chiquita, on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. Each casita has its own colour — Lima, Papaya, Pitahaya and Turquesa — and its own private terrace in the garden.
Every casita has two rooms and two bathrooms, which makes them a comfortable choice for families and small groups of up to four guests. The casitas are not air-conditioned; the garden setting and the Caribbean breeze keep things pleasant.
The beach at Playa Chiquita is about 350–370 metres away. The casitas are managed together with neighbouring Hotel Casa Merlin, so guests can use its swimming pool (about 30 m from the casitas). The grounds also have a restaurant and a yoga shala where classes and massages are offered. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are available, and breakfast can be added at $10 per person per day.

About 4–5 hours from San José via Route 32 through Braulio Carrillo, then south along the Caribbean coast to Puerto Viejo and Playa Chiquita.
By shuttle
Shared and private shuttles run daily between San José and Puerto Viejo. We can arrange a private transfer on request.
By air
Fly into San José (SJO), then continue by road or shuttle. Domestic flights to Limón are limited.
