Mistico Park is a 650-hectare nature sanctuary facing Arenal Volcano, 250 hectares of it protected tropical rainforest. The self-guided walk takes you over the park’s famous hanging bridges and along forest trails — a good first look at the rainforest canopy for all ages.

- Accessible trail: 1.5 km, about 1 hour
- Short cut: 2.5 km, about 2 hours
- Main trail: 3.5 km, about 2.5 hours
Entry times: morning 6:30–11:30 and afternoon 12:30–15:30, in timed blocks, daily. Reservation required.
Good to know: closed shoes, no single-use plastic bottles, no drones, no smoking. Children 0–4 enter free. A guide is not included — choose the guided walk if you want an expert.
