Hotel Casa Merlin Yoga Wellness is a garden hotel set in dense tropical vegetation on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, in Talamanca. It is a place to enjoy nature at a slower pace: hummingbirds, butterflies, sloths, monkeys, toucans and iguanas are regular visitors to the garden.
Guests can choose between simple air-conditioned rooms, family apartments and private bungalows with a kitchen, some of them with a view of the swimming pool. There is a yoga shala with regular classes, a menu of massages and holistic therapies, and Rancho Merlin serves healthy breakfasts and brunches with fruit, tropical bowls, homemade bread and natural juices (vegetarian and vegan options available).
Playa Chiquita, a quiet white-sand beach, is a short walk across the road. Puerto Viejo is a few kilometres away by bike, and Cahuita National Park is about 20 minutes north. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, private parking, bicycle rental and laundry service.

About 4–5 hours from San José via Route 32 through Braulio Carrillo, then south along the Caribbean coast to Puerto Viejo and Playa Chiquita.
