Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour

Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour

1 Day

The Pacific off the Osa Peninsula moves to its own rhythm, and every exhale breaking the surface is a reminder of how close you can get to the ocean’s largest inhabitants. Our route is never fixed — some days we stay close to shore where playful pods gather, other days we head further out to meet offshore megapods of dolphins that can number in the thousands. During whale season (late July–October) we often find Humpback mothers and calves resting near shore and around Caño Island, sometimes with dolphins playing alongside them.

Onboard, listen through a hydrophone as whale song and dolphin chatter drift up from below — close your eyes and the ocean feels a little closer. The boat is shaded with cushioned, backed seating, and if conditions allow, we’ll pause for a snorkel in calmer waters.

Good to know: children under 11 travel at a reduced rate. A light breakfast beforehand is recommended.
